Larvikite is is sometimes inaccurately called "Black Moonstone" and even "Black Labradorite". It is an iridescent stone found in Norway and in Ontario, Canada.

Larvikite is considered a safeguarding and grounding stone for the wearer. It is thought to encourage a robust connection with Earth energies.
