Roland is a Board of directors for SOLO (Save Our Leatherbacks Operation) Founded by Larry McKenna, to help critically endangered Pacific Leatherback sea turtles. Roland has worked with Shark Angels Founder, Julie Anderson and Director of Operations Jamie Pollack to educate and ban the sale of shark fin products.
He has been diving and filming marine life for over 30 years worldwide. Using the footage to sculpt incredibly detailed work. His passion has led him to use his art to create awareness in protecting threatened species around the world.
